New Generation — Open Universe

Open Universe · New Generation

A 30-year
relationship with
the institution.

New Generation is Open Universe's program for the next generation of collectors, patrons, and institutional leaders. Three tiers. One pipeline. A path from placing your first work on a school wall to shaping the institution that put it there.

The artists are early. The institution is early. The moment to be a founding member of any tier is now.

The pipeline

Start wherever you are.
Stay for thirty years.

New Generation is designed around a simple truth — the people who shape cultural institutions are the people who showed up early. Each tier is a genuine entry point, not a stepping stone to be rushed through. You can join at any stage and stay as long as you want.

But the path from First Collector to Young Founder is real — and the credential you earn at each stage follows you permanently in the institutional record.

Ages 14–22 First Collector

Place a work. Build a school collection. Earn a credential.

Ages 23–30 Young Patron

Join the institution. Named permanently. Access the ecosystem.

Ages 31–45 Young Founder

Take a governance role. Shape the institution.

Beyond The Board

The institution you helped build.

The founding moment
is now.

Every tier of New Generation has a founding cohort — a group of people whose names will be permanently attached to the earliest chapter of Open Universe. That moment does not repeat. Find the tier that fits where you are and join.
